Bio
Carlos “theydrift” Aguilar is a Mexican/Chicano artist based in the Pacific Northwest whose work blends street art, portraiture, and abstraction into a bold visual language. With over 25 years of experience rooted in graffiti culture, his practice explores identity, movement, and cultural connection through a mix of realism, vibrant color blocking, and layered storytelling. Drawing from his heritage and life as a drifter, Aguilar creates work that bridges the gallery and the street—always grounded in community and driven by a deep respect for both tradition and innovation.
